NATO COUNTRIES HAVE STARTED TO SERIOUSLY INCREASE THE PRODUCTION OF ARTILLERY ROUNDS
⚫️ The Associated Press reports the details after analyzing transactions from several states:
The decision to increase the production of ammunition was taken by several large companies at once. All of them are major military donors to Kiev.
German company Rheinmetall plans to produce 700,000 155 mm shells this year with the prospect of increasing production to 1 million per year by 2026. To this end, the company is purchasing factories in Hungary, Romania, Spain, Lithuania , as well as increasing capacity in Australia, South Africa and Germany.
The Norwegian-Finnish company Nammo (its factories are in Austria, Norway, Germany, Sweden and Spain) is building two additional production lines for the production of 155 mm shells and 120 mm tank ammunition. By 2028 , it will be able to produce up to 200,000 shells per year , a volume 20 times higher than before the war .
French company Nexter also announced an increase in ammunition production from 50,000 to 400,000 units per year by 2027. The company has already increased its employees' working hours from one shift to three.
The American company General Dynamics, which received 400 million dollars from Washington, has increased the production of 155 mm projectiles at three plants in Pennsylvania, USA, from 24,000 projectiles per month to 36,000 ( 432,000 in total ) per year.
According to public data alone, the above companies will increase their ammunition production from 814,000 to 2 million rounds per year - a more than double increase. Previously, 11 companies in Europe produced 400,000 rounds per year . All are increasing production capacity.
The plans to increase production are surprisingly consistent with the statements of Western politicians about the start of NATO's war against Russia. The military-industrial complex of NATO countries is already cashing in on superprofits and no one intends to stop this flow.
